No theme this week. I really enjoyed doing the tasting notes last week, so I may do one or two more this week (I didn’t get to the Helles). Due to a weird scheduling hiccup at work, I’m planning a rare Monday brew session tomorrow, so that will be one post. I need to do a small batch update on the things sitting around. It’s really going to be a grab bag kind of week. In the meantime, have a nice Spring Ham and Candy Day today, if that is your thing. Try pairing a Pilsner or Pale Ale (on the mellow side of the style) with your ham dinner, or in my case a Mount Hoodie. A big, heavy stout (like Cocoa Cream Stout) or something tart and fruity (like Table Cat or Ich Bin Ein Berliner Raspberry Berliner Weisse) should be good with the candy.
